Red flags to watch for right now

  • They ask you to pay for training, equipment, or a "starter kit."
  • They send you a check and ask you to send part of it back.
  • The whole interview happens by text or chat app.
  • They want your Social Security or bank details before a written offer.
  • The pay is far above normal for very little work.
  • The email comes from a free address that doesn't match the company.
  • They pressure you to decide right now.
  • You can't find the company or the job on its official website.

Please note: No Workplace Like Home cannot confirm whether any job offer is or isn't a scam. These red flags are general warning signs, not a guarantee. Always proceed with caution, do your own research, and never share personal or financial information until you're confident an employer is real.
